Is This Ten Dollar Happy Hour Secret the Best Kept Foodie Find in Miami?

A rainy day in Miami Beach calls for serious comfort food. I was on a mission to hunt down the absolute best bites the city has to offer, and it turned into an elite food crawl. The whole day built up to a legendary ten dollar happy hour burger secret. But the wild culinary journey to get there was a total game-changer.

Tacos, Gator Bites, and Pure Peruvian Heat

The feast kicked off at Coyo Taco inside the Time Out Market. I ordered the carne asada and the carnitas de pato, which is a slow-cooked duck confit cured in its own fat. Look at that pull as I grab the first bite. Absolutely delicious. The duck is super tender, salty, and wonderfully fatty on an in-house made tortilla.

Next, I hit up Kush for a true Florida delicacy. Fried alligator bites fresh from Dade City. I did a massive triple dip into the creamy garlic, the house-made cocktail sauce, and a shake of Old Bay to kick it up a notch. It is meaty and on the chewier side. Insane.

To round out the market run, I stopped by 33 Kitchen for a gorgeous ceviche misto packed with shrimp, octopus, and corvina fish. It is swimming in a basic citrus lime juice. The result? Incredible. A perfectly refreshing palate cleanser before the heavy hitting began.

Heavy Ribs and Hidden Speakeasies

Coffeed up and ready for round two, I moved further inland to a cool neighborhood market called The Citadel in Little River. First stop was Manjay for a jerk chicken bowl with sweet fried plantains and coconut flakes mixed into the rice. It is nowhere near as spicy as traditional Jamaican jerk, but it is beautifully seasoned.

Then came the real visual highlight. Society BBQ. I grabbed a massive pork spare rib drenched in a sweet blackberry barbecue sauce. It is peppery, salty, and delightfully greasy. Unreal.

After a quick pit stop for a shot and a beer at Gramps, one of my favorite dive bars in Wynwood, it was finally time for the main event. I rushed over to Le Chick just in time for their happy hour burger. For just ten bucks, you get a massive, elite double patty masterpiece that literally tastes like perfection. The perfect ending to an epic Miami devour session
