Is This Connecticut’s Best Kept Seafood Secret

My wife and I are at Clam Castle in Madison, Connecticut on the shoreline for a fried seafood and lobster packed lunch. If you are looking for an unreal seafood feast, this spot is an absolute game-changer. We went all out, and the food did not disappoint.

The 6-Ounce Jumbo Lobster Roll

I had to go with their 6-ounce jumbo lobster roll. Just look at how much lobster is on there! It comes with hot butter, and they give you a little lemon on the side to squeeze right over the top.

The toasted roll is packed to the brim. I made sure there was no butter left behind in the container. Drenched. Hot and buttered lobster rolls are one of my favorite foods on the planet, and this one is delicious.

They absolutely nailed it. The lobster is so fresh, and it has just the right amount of butter without being too much. Plus, the bun holds up perfectly under all that weight. This is easily one of the best lobster rolls in Connecticut.

Crispy Fried Scallops

Next up, we got some fried scallops. They are perfectly golden brown and look incredibly crispy. I had to try one without tartar sauce first just to get the full flavor.

The result? Incredible. It is a must-order when you come here. The texture is spot on, and it is just so good.

Of course, you can never have enough of their house-made tartar sauce. Dunking a crispy scallop into that creamy sauce put me straight into my happy place.

Flaky Fried Fish Tacos

My wife went with the fried fish tacos. She ordered them with extra lime crema because, obviously, you need that extra sauce.

She poured the pink crema right over the crispy fish chunks. Look at that pour! The fish is so flaky, it is crazy.

One bite in, and she was blown away. That is some seriously fresh fish, and the combination with the crema is fantastic. She even had to grab a piece of the fish that fell out to make sure not a single bite went to waste.
