These 4-Ingredient Nutella Oreo Truffles Are Pure Decadence

I wanted to create the ultimate bite-sized treat for chocolate lovers. Something rich, textured, and completely effortless. By combining the deep cocoa crunch of Oreos with the velvety smoothness of Nutella, I knew I could create a dessert that tastes like it came from a high-end boutique.

The result? Incredible.

I started by piercing the gold foil seal on a fresh jar of Nutella, scooping out a massive, glossy dollop of hazelnut spread. Next, I lined up blocks of classic Hershey’s milk chocolate on my cutting board. I brought my chef's knife down in a steady, rapid motion, turning the solid bars into a mountain of fine shards.

Chop. Chop. Chop.

For the truffle base, I ripped open a family-sized pack of Oreos and dumped them straight into a food processor. I pulsed the machine until the cookies were pulverized into a fine, dark sand. I transferred the crumbs into a glass mixing bowl, dropped in a block of softened cream cheese, and added a generous helping of Nutella. I worked the mixture with a wooden spoon until it became a thick, cohesive chocolate dough.

I portioned the dough and rolled each piece tightly between my hands, forming a series of uniform, smooth spheres. After setting them on a baking sheet, I melted down the chopped Hershey’s bars over a double boiler until the chocolate ran completely smooth. I submerged each truffle into the warm chocolate bath, ensuring a thick, even coat before lifting them free.

To finish them off, I dusted the tops with leftover crushed Oreo pieces for a bit of texture. Cutting one down the middle revealed a dense, rich center encased in a perfectly set milk chocolate shell.
