Are These Toasted Marshmallow Crunch Roll-Ups The Ultimate Bite-Sized Dessert

I wanted to find a way to reinvent the classic flavor profile of a campfire treat. I needed something that delivered the smoky, gooey satisfaction of a roasted marshmallow but with a серьезный crunch on the outside. By smoothing marshmallow creme onto flattened white bread, torching it to a deep golden char, and dunking the rolls into melted milk chocolate packed with crushed peanuts, I knew I could create a sweet snack with an incredible texture.

The result? Incredible.

I started by stacking a few slices of soft white bread on my cutting board. I brought down my chef's knife in a clean, rhythmic motion, trimming away the brown crusts on all sides before taking a rolling pin and flattening the bread squares into thin, flexible sheets.

Slice. Roll. Flatten.

Next, I grabbed a jar of Jet-Puffed marshmallow creme and scooped out a massive, airy dollop. I spread the sticky white creme evenly across each slice of bread. To get that signature campfire flavor, I fired up my kitchen torch and blasted the marshmallow creme with an open flame, rotating the heat until the sugar caramelized into a beautiful, blistered brown. I carefully rolled the pieces up tight into neat, compact logs.

For the crunchy chocolate coating, I lined up blocks of Hershey's milk chocolate and chopped them into a fine pile of shards. I also took a handful of salted peanuts and ran my knife through them, crushing them down into rough bits. I melted the chocolate in a glass bowl over a double boiler, stirring with a wooden spoon until it was shiny, and then folded the crushed peanuts directly into the mix.

I dropped each marshmallow roll-up straight into the textured chocolate bath, coating them completely from end to end. I lifted them out, laid them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and finished them with a light sprinkle of sea salt before popping them into the fridge to firm up into a solid, snappy shell.

Cutting one down the middle revealed a stunning spiral of toasted, gooey marshmallow creme wrapped in a crunchy, peanut-loaded chocolate shell.
